The Return of Religion and the Semantic Retrieval of Myth

Postmodernism has found reasonÂ’s own limitations and gaps. One of the fields reason wanted to fill and did not achieve, religion, specifically, has become a subject of discussion for many philosophers.

Religion, as one selfÂ’s way of knowledge, has taken a new shape out of the institutions, thanks to the collaboration of the symbolic and the theoretical logos. Due to this new epistemology, religionÂ’s symbols (recipients and manifestations of revelation) had become object of reflection, and the semantics of myths or religious stories has widened.
